Ogden Nature Center

  • About Us

The mission of the Ogden Nature Center is to unite people with nature and to nurture appreciation and stewardship of the environment.

We are a 152-acre wildlife sanctuary with almost two miles of trails, treehouses, observation towers. and a human size mouse hole. We provide fun nature education programs tied to Utah's science core curriculum for elementary-aged children and a variety of community programs for people of all ages.

Bring your binoculars - you may spot deer, wild turkeys, beaver, muskrat, fox - and you'll definitely see many different kinds of birds that inhabit our ponds, grasslands, woods, and wetlands. Visit non- releasable native birds of prey, like a Bald Eagle that can no longer fly and a Great Horned Owl that never learned how to hunt, along with an American White Pelican, or enjoy our birdhouse exhibit and gardens.
