Feet on the Ground

  • About Us

Feet on the Ground is a non-profit that supports individuals and communities affected by trauma in building resilience from within through the breath and movement of yoga. We work directly with trauma-exposed populations teaching trauma-informed breath and movement classes to veterans, children, aid workers, and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. We also work with social service, aid and development organizations serving at risk communities to develop and implement complementary trauma-informed movement. Feet on the Ground also provides training to yoga teachers, yoga students, social workers, teachers, human rights workers, staff in peacebuilding and development organizations, and the general public. We also support self-care programming and training for individuals that work in high-stress environments, including those working in international aid and development, lawyers, medical staff, first responders, etc.
