    The Central Michigan University-TRIO Upward Bound Project is a college academic preparation program for eligible DCP @ Northwestern High School students. The program offers tutoring, advising, test prep, counseling, cultural, social enrichment and an intense (6) six-week summer program, which includes a residential living-learning experience. Upward Bound is federally funded (NO cost to participants) and administered through the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, D.C. Central Michigan University's Project Upward Bound Program is one of many on college campuses across the United States, all of whose purpose is helping young people develop their potential to succeed in college. Students remain in the program until graduation from high school.
