NORML in Arizona

Are you interested in building your network of professionals, strengthening your leadership skills, and helping to implement new and innovative ideas while working on cannabis reform?   NORML in Arizona, the state affiliate of the national organization, is seeking volunteers to help us with our 2016 legalization efforts. Help end prohibition and shape the coming Green Rush. Since 1970 NORML has been the nationally recognized leader in marijuana policy reform, with 150 chapters nationwide. Arizona NORML’s mission is to move public opinion sufficiently to legalize the responsible use of marijuana by adults, and to serve as an advocate for consumers to assure they have access to high quality marijuana that is safe, convenient and affordable.  We are seeking interns and volunteers for help to create and execute a statewide strategy to promote the legalization movement--make phone calls, distribute flyers; maybe even knock on doors and attend events to raise public awareness, and debunk a lot of the negative myths about cannabis.  This is a great opportunity to meet people, gain experience, and be part of a movement that is changing America!   http://www.normlinarizona.org/ or contact Mikel Weisser @ 928-234-5633.
