Urban Oasis Project, Inc. (UOP) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to build a local food movement accessible and available to all. We've facilitated many potlucks, planted over 100 gardens with low-income families, operated multiple farmstands at farmers markets, and built the #1 rated farmers market in Miami at Legion Park. We double SNAP benefits for FL fruits and veggies at farmers markets, and now are partners with Jessie Trice Community Health Centers as redemption sites for the Fruit and Veggie Prescription Program- FVRx.
