Portland Psychedelic Society

Portland Psychedelic Society (PPS) is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that exists to create inclusive space for psychedelic integration, education, and community building. We envision a world in which individuals have the freedom and support to explore consciousness through psychedelics. We view traditional plant medicines and other psychedelics as opening a door to the sacred within ourselves and to the interconnectedness we have with each other and with the living world. We feel the potential for healing, both on an individual and on a societal level, is profound and urgently needed.

PPS is uniquely positioned to make Portland a national model for integrating psychedelics into society and transforming the global culture. PPS is recognized as the leading psychedelic community development and education organization in the Pacific Northwest. We host over thirty regular monthly meetings that serve diverse groups to assist in healing, integration, education, and community building. PPS actively educates the general public through social media (with tens of thousands of followers across different platforms), in-person public events (including advocacy), and large-scale conferences. 

With the paradigm shift now occurring in humankind’s relationship to psychedelics, PPS is poised to make Portland a model for responsible, educated, and effective psychedelically-informed culture.
