Computer technology has become a great equalizer, but only for those able to obtain the required equipment. InterConnection is a nonprofit in Seattle dedicated to putting badly needed PCs in the hands of those around the world who want to make a difference.
InterConnection has shipped more than 35,000 PCs to NGOs in 40 countries since 1999 and operates the InterConnection Online Store to provide badly needed computer hardware for nonprofits here in the US. Orgs can order PCs with Windows 7 & Office 2007 at their convenience and have them shipped out for a nominal fee to cover InterConnection’s operating costs.
InterConnection PCs are processed by a full time staff of technicians who meticulously refurbish and test each machine that goes out. Nonprofits who order are covered by a 12 month warranty.
