Camp Kesem Minnesota

• To provide children affected by a parent’s cancer with a supportive, lifelong camp community that recognizes and understands their unique needs.
• To empower college students to make a difference and build invaluable leadership skills by developing and managing every aspect of their Camp Kesem chapter.

Camp Kesem is a college student run FREE summer camp for kids ages 6-16 with a parent who has cancer, is in remission from cancer, or has passed away from cancer. Student volunteers at the University of Minnesota are currently organizing our second year of camp for August 2013, which will take place at Camp North Star in Hayward, WI August 18-23rd, 2013.
