PfID manages a portfolio of small, carefully managed projects addressing extreme poverty in low-income countries, with a focus on rural health infrastructure, low-maintenance water infrastructure, evidence-based primary education supports for orphans, and the achievement of universal secondary education through digital technology and curriculum innovation. PfID is the official project-managing partner of Students for International Development, which provides comprehensive training and field-support for volunteers working on PfID's projects.
