About Us

The Collaborative Charter Services Organization ("CSO") functions to provide administrative support to California charter schools in the execution of effective and efficient board governance; parent, student, and community engagement; fiscal services; human resources, payroll, and benefits; instruction, admission, assessment, compliance and accountability; LCAP, SARC, and WASC special projects; and special education services.

The specific purpose of this corporation is to provide task-related administrative support services to the public charter schools operated by, and under the supervision and ultimate decision-making authority of, the following non-profit public benefit corporations: Sage Oak Charter Schools; Excel Academy Charter Schools; Pathways Academy Adult Education; Motivated Youth Academy; and California Pacific Charter Schools (collectively, the "Member Charter Schools").

The business plan of The Collaborative CSO includes strategic planning for sustainable growth with a focus on adding services and member charter schools.

The mission of The Collaborative Charter Services Organization is to provide subject matter consultation, coaching, and integrated administrative support services allowing Charter Schools to focus on the education and achievement of students.
