  • About Us

Carpe Mundi's mission is to empower low-income college students to reach their full potential through mentorship and international learning experiences. Carpe Mundi supports low-income, first-generation college students through a year-long mentorship program that includes an experiential education semester abroad, through which students earn 24 credits from Portland State University.

We pride ourselves on being the only nonprofit in the US that provides low-income college students with a scholarship to study abroad in addition to a holistic support network to ensure student success. We believe in equity and access, mentorship, learning communities, and experiential education.
