SPRINGFIELD COMMUNITY GARDENS

  • Mission

TO CREATE GARDENS THAT STRENGTHEN NEIGHBORHOODS WHERE PEOPLE GROW HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, FOOD, AND COMMUNITY.

    About Us

Springfield Community Gardens was founded in 2010 with a vision of creating a community where everyone has access to healthy, local food. Our organization currently supports 16 community gardens, 3 urban farms, a community food forest and commercial test kitchen in the heart of the Ozarks. These programs, along with our 4-H club for underserved youth and weekly produce distribution efforts, help bring over a quarter million dollars worth of fresh produce to our food insecure neighbors annually.
