About Us

KeySteps' mission is to help youth become educated, productive adults who cotribute to society.

Founded in 1978, previously known as the Comprehensive School-Age Pareting Program, Inc., KeySteps is a nonprofit organization located in Boston Public Schools that links with community based organization to help all youth remain in and graduate from high school. We provide year round counseling, education and support services to promote responsible behavior and healthy decision-making among Boston's culturally and linguistically diverse youth to ensure they stay in school and gain the skills and emotional resiliency needed to become educated productive adults and citizens who contribute to society. Our vision is to increase opportunity and supports to ensure that at risk middle and high school youth in Boston and in urban areas throughout the Commonwealth are prepared to compete with their peers; succeed in higher education, training and jobs in the 21st century; and if parents, be better prepared to raise children in an enviroment characterized by love of learning and economic stability.
