Kesem is a nationwide community, driven by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. We are the only national organization dedicated to this unique population – supporting children with innovative, fun-filled programs that foster a lasting community.

Camp Kesem at The George Washington University was founded in 2008 and supports children in the DC Metropolitan area Cancer Community by providing TWO one-week-long summer camp experience and year-long peer support. Camp Kesem at GW is operated by a 16 member student Executive Board, 70+ volunteers and serves nearly 140 campers ages 6-18 per year.
