Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance

Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance is North Carolina's summertime contemporary ballet company. Hiring in dancers from professional companies across the country during the summer months, the company performs innovative choreography. Terpsicorps is known for its multimedia events and collaborations with musicians, actors and visual artists.

The company is also very proud of their work with at-risk youth. Outreach director Joe Curry visits community centers and camps, teaching them about dance and the choreographic process. His workshops culminate in lecture demonstration performances at which the students see the professionals at work and then share with them their own choreographic projects.
