Big Muddy Urban Farm

  • About Us

Big Muddy Urban Farm (BMUF) is an urban agriculture training organization with a mission to make sustainable agriculture education accessible to all. The Farm started in 2012 by growing diverse fruits and vegetables on vacant urban lots in Omaha, NE. Since then, the lots have transformed from under-utilized spaces into vibrant spaces of creativity, education, and small business incubation. Programming at BMUF consists of a full-season Aspiring Farmer Fellowship, Youth Garden partnerships, and hosting Farm tours for community groups.
