    The purpose of the Center for Hope & Safety (CHS) is to provide a safe environment for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking to receive supports and to educate the public about the issues surrounding victimization. Individuals representing a cross-section of the community will join together to operate programs that respond directly to needs identified by survivors of violence. Our agency philosophy will reflect the survivors' right to receive information about abuse and their right to make their own choices from a wide range of options.

    Center for Hope & Safety has offered a safe refuge and support to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking since 1973. Our programs and services inform survivors of their options and support them in their choices. A cornerstone of our philosophy is respect for the rights of all survivors, including the freedom to decide whether to report to law enforcement the crimes committed against them. We work with survivors of any race, color, creed, religious belief, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
