About Us

Impact. Purpose. Passion. Those are just three of the many reasons to become a part of CJP. Our work is rooted in tikkun olam (repairing the world)—not only for the Jewish community, but for all who need a helping hand.

With the help of volunteers and donors, we leverage our decades of experience, our innovative ideas, and our solid partnerships with local, national and overseas organizations. We connect people to traditions, provide services to those in need, and unite Greater Boston with our brothers and sisters in Israel and around the world through our work as a philanthropic organization.

We strive to constantly improve our programs and enhance lives—that’s our vision, and its one our employees share. CJP Staff member Matty Burns describes CJP as, “a rich community of clever, creative people with ambition, people who actually like going to work. CJP is an organization with integrity, a place that walks their talk; that constantly seeks to improve and to grow, all while being incredibly thoughtful.”

With a diverse range of programming that addresses social justice, education, Israel advocacy, and Jewish learning, the staff at CJP collaborates on meaningful work. If you want to work with people who care about our world and do work that matters, we invite you to explore a career at CJP. We offer competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, work/life balance and a collaborative environment where employees of all religious and ethnic backgrounds can thrive. Together, we can solve our community’s most difficult problems and achieve our greatest aspirations.
