About Us
Urban ArtWorks is a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for artists and local youth to create public works of art.
Since 1995, we have painted vibrant murals, transformed construction sites, signal boxes, bus shelters and more in neighborhoods throughout Seattle. Our pre-employment training and subsidized employment programs foster a renewed sense of self-esteem, self-motivation, and self-sufficiency in the young people with whom we work.
