Autism Theater Project

Our programs have included our play, "In the Life of a Child", drama workshops that teach social skills, and a YouTube series of interviews with inspirational members of the autism community and beyond. Based in South Florida, our programs have served children at Actors’ Playhouse Miracle Theater, Miami Children’s Theater, Alexander Montessori School, Kia Kidz Martial Arts Center, We Rock the Spectrum Gym, and Great Heights Academy. We also work remotely with young adult artists throughout the USA and beyond. And material from our play "In the Life of a Child" has been featured in Florence, Italy at the Teatro Della Pergola.

Centered on a nonverbal girl who dreams of a world where 'talking children’ could hear her inner voice, "In the Life of a Child" inspired our educational program, Playground Empathy, for advanced elementary students. And our latest project is "The Voice Inside" (TVI), an interactive streaming series for teens and young adults. TVI is created and performed by young writers and actors with and without special needs. And their own actual success stories which inspire the episodes.
