    The Northwest Special Recreation Association (NWSRA) is an extension of 17 park districts in the northwest suburbs of Cook County, IL that provides recreation services to children and adults with disabilities. We provide recreation services to help children and adults with disabilities make friends, have fun, be included, go new places, learn new things and celebrate their lives. We serve residents in the following districts: Arlington Heights, Bartlett, Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove Village, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Mount Prospect, Palatine, Prospect Heights, River Trails, Rolling Meadows, Salt Creek, Schaumburg, South Barrington, Streamwood and Wheeling.
