ITNLehighValley

ITNLehighValley provides 24/7, door through door, arm through arm transportation service in private automobiles to people aged 60 years and older and visually impaired adults 18 and older. Riders join ITNLehighValley as members,establish a Personal Transportation Account™ and receive monthly itemized statements showing their ride costs. No cash transactions occur in the vehicle and no tipping is allowed. ITNLehighValley provides assistance to low income riders through the Road Scholarship Program™, a unique program that leverages volunteer driver miles to pay for rides for low income riders. 

Rides may be booked at any time. Riders may ride alone or with others and there is no limit on ride purpose within the designated service area of Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and surrounding suburbs. Usage fees include a $4.00 pickup fee and a $1.50/per mileage charge.  Discounts apply for advanced notice and shared rides. 

Trained and vetted volunteer and paid drivers using their own vehicles provide the rides. Riders must be able to self-transfer from a wheelchair to the car. Companions may accompany riders at no extra charge.
