    Guria, a non-profit organization, fights the sexual exploitation of women and girls who are forced into prostitution and trafficking. Prostitution and trafficking have intensified with the rise of sex tourism and the spread of HIV/AIDS. Guria responds to the immediate suffering of affected individuals while focusing on the root causes of prostitution: poverty and inequality. We strongly believe that the world does not need charity; empowerment and justice are the keys to a humane world where all beings co-exist in harmony.
