Franklinton Preparatory Academy

Franklinton Preparatory Academy is a public high school, founded in 2013, and located in the under-served though vibrant Franklinton neighborhood immediately west of downtown Columbus, Ohio.  FPA lives to serve Franklinton, Hilltop, Columbus City and Central Ohio students in grades 9-12 who seek a loving, nurturing yet challenging educational environment that focuses on graduating our students while preparing them to fully engage in successful life pursuits after graduation.  Our philosophy is relationship-based and founded on the principle that all students deserve a good and safe school, staffed by adults who are excellent teachers, role models, and compassionate citizens.  We are committed to the premise that art, music and movement are essential elements to education.  We provide our students with job-shadowing and internship opportunities.  FPA partners with like-minded organizations, school, community groups and people who share our passion.  We seek mission-driven individuals looking for a place to plant roots and help us better serve our students and our community.
