Laura Pels International Foundation for Theater
- New York
429 East 52nd Street
The Foundation is committed to the support of outstanding theatrical productions (excluding musicals, dance and performance art), not bricks and mortar nor support of endowment or extra curriculum activities of institutions, apart from support for educational and cross-cultural opportunities for students, awards for playwrights, actors or directors, and playwrights interested in learning English and management of theaters in Anglo-Saxon countries, as well as American actors or any other nationality wishing to learn French.
The Foundation is a bridge between theatrical cultures fostering the creation, growth and productions of classics and new works with institutions of high quality and exists to develop an arena where theatre can flourish and be accessible to the general public; contributions are only for works of theatre, nothing else.
