Radio Catskill

WJFF Radio Catskill is an independent community voice of the Catskills and Northeast Pennsylvania. We connect listeners through locally focused and globally aware programming to inform, entertain, and inspire our communities, and promote understanding among people of diverse social, cultural, economic, and political backgrounds.

Radio Catskill is a non-profit public radio station broadcasting at 90.5FM and streaming on wjffradio.org and on the Radio Catskill app. With an estimated potential broadcast audience of 200,000 listeners in Sullivan, Delaware, Ulster, and Orange Counties in New York and Wayne and Pike Counties in Pennsylvania, Radio Catskill's schedule includes two daily local news shows, familiar programming from NPR including "Morning Edition" and "All Things Considered, " and 24 other locally produced shows, including music programs that span multiple genres. In addition to on-air, Radio Catskill provides local news updates and event announcements for the community on its website, on social media, and in its weekly newsletter.

Radio Catskill is a critical resource, providing information to our rural region that might not be found anywhere else. In addition to its broadcast, Radio Catskill maintains an active presence in the community, supporting other non-profits through collaborations and media sponsorships, curating free music performances, dance parties, and other local events to bring listeners together, and offering a music sales of vinyl, cds, instruments, and stereo equipment that have become an annual tradition for music lovers far and wide.

In the coming months, Radio Catskill will be expanding its reach across the entire greater Catskills region and into the Capital District through the acquisition of WIOX Community Radio in Roxbury, NY, subject to regulatory review and approval. By integrating two stations under a single professional management structure, Radio Catskill will reduce duplicative costs, increase operational efficiency, and direct more resources toward the programming and community engagement that listeners value most.
