Gundalow Company

To protect the Piscataqua Maritime Region through Education and Action

The nonprofit Gundalow Company provides educational programs and experiences to engage citizens of all ages as stewards of the Piscataqua Region. To help fulfill our mission we use a replica gundalow as a unique platform - visiting towns throughout the tidal region to engage and educate the public about current coastal issues as well as our heritage. The gundalow Captain Edward H. Adams, a 70' traditionally-built sailing barge, represents 300 years of history. Our dockside and outreach programs welcome thousands of adults and school children each year, thanks to a crew of enthusiastic volunteers.
