About Us
GIRE is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1992 to promote and defend women’s reproductive rights, within the context of human rights. GIRE targets decision makers and public officials from the three branches of government, legal and administration of justice professionals, the health sector, the media, opinion leaders, academics, civil society organizations and the public to increase women’s exercise of their reproductive rights and access to justice.
