Urban Gateways engages young people in arts experiences to inspire creativity and impact social change. Professional artists engage Chicago’s youth in arts activities that build essential skills like creativity, collaboration and innovation, and improve their self-esteem and confidence necessary to succeed in life. Urban Gateways' artist-in-residence, touring, workshop, and apprenticeship programs introduce students to artistic disciplines including music, theater, dance, literary arts, visual arts, and digital media.
