  • Mission

    • To maintain an association of persons interested in the Poudre River Public Library District. • To raise money to enhance and support the resources of the Poudre River Public Library District. • To provide volunteer opportunities in support of the Library. • To advocate for the Poudre River Public Library District. • To sponsor programs to promote use and enjoyment of the Library. • To encourage literacy within the community • To maintain an association of persons interested in the Poudre River Public Library District.

    About Us

    We raise money mainly through used book sales to support the Poudre River Library District. Our biggest program support is the summer reading program. Other Library programs we support are History Comes Alive; Nature Lecture by Kevin Cook;and the annual Fort Collins Book Festival. We are also Library advocates, and when the library campaigns, the Friends have been major donors in accordance with IRS limits and regulations.
