    The Vision of Children's mission is to find a cure for hereditary childhood blindness and vision disorders, and to improve the quality of life of visually impaired individuals and their families. Since it was founded in 1990, The Vision of Children has funded scientific genetic research to understand and ultimately cure the visually debilitating condition, Ocular Albinism, and over 25 related hereditary eye diseases. The Vision of Children sponsors research, outreach, and education programs for the visually impaired.
