Amplifyme (formerly Project: Think Different) is an empowerment media arts organization, which uses pop culture to inspire people to think differently about their power to create change in their lives and communities. We use the arts and pop culture media--music, film, and video--to increase the visibility of unheard and often marginalized issues promoting civic dialogue and engagement for equity and fairness. Our strategy is to work with musicians, filmmakers, and other artists utilizing social marketing and 'edutainment' principals to create messages that attract attention and promote action on key social justice issues. Empowering messages in music, film, and video can create a public consciousness and context that supports individual action for positive change.
