    The Florin Square Community Development Corporation (FSCDC) is dedicated to providing assistance, information, and resources to our community that improves quality of life in the areas of Business and Economic Development, Education, Arts and Culture, Community Development, and Health and Wellness (BEACH) while using a model of dignity, integrity, and unity.

    About Us

    FSCDC seeks to assist, support, and collaborate with other agencies with projects that lead to the improvement of our community in our BEACH (Business, Education, Arts/Culture, Community, Health/Wellness) model of programs. To this end, we:

    Publish a city-wide bimonthly magazine with these issues in focus.

    Help coordinate Covid vaccinations

    Distributed food to community members in need

    Facilitated the Small Business Success Summit series

    Facilitated a Youth entrepreneurs and Life Skills Symposium

    Facilitated the Homebuyers Assistance Expo

    Will facilitate the Job Fair and Skills Training Expo

    Serve as part of the Caltrans grant to beautify Florin Road

    Award scholarships to college students

    Helped coordinate a Bakersfield to Sacramento Business Bus Tour
