    Dedicated to the creaton, preservation and restoration of public paths, steps and walkways in Berkeley for the use and enjoyment of all, BPWA offers a regular program of guided and self-guided walks, path development and maintenance, and promotes walking in general as a healthy, interesting and environmentally friendly activity. BPWA also partners with other similar organizations throughout the Bay Area to support and promote programs and activities complementary to our mission.
