Atwood Outdoor Education Center

Located in Rockford's (IL) Atwood Park, the Atwood Outdoor Education Center has as its mission to develop in young people and adults an understanding and respect for self, others, the earth, and all their interrelationships.

From its 334-acre location, the Center offers residential environmental education, day programs, summer camps, mobile nature programs, challenge courses, birds of prey programs, cross country ski clinics, and special events.
