In 1995 a group of concerned parents and business leaders found the need to establish a new school for children with autism in Jacksonville Florida. The Jericho School was created to make available the best practices in early childhood development and education to families who have children with developmental disabilities. At that time The Jericho School was one of only a few select schools in the United States to provide a science-based curriculum utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis. The Jericho School has become a model program and a leader in the treatment of children with autism and the application of Applied Behavior Analysis and Verbal Behavior. We currently have a center-based clinic, a kindergarten program, an intensive summer program and a community outreach program.
