About Us
In 2021, EGBOK Mission (US NGO) transitioned Into SPOONS Cambodia Organization, 100% Cambodian run. After the EGBOK board’s decision to close down the foreign charity in December 2020, the Cambodian team have teamed up with a newly-designated local Board of Advisors to continue and preserve EGBOKs positive impact on disadvantaged youth in Cambodia.
The Cambodian Team wishes to keep EGBOK’s legacy to alleviate unemployment of unskilled people by training them and giving them the opportunity to be employed in the hospitality sector in the future. We will move on with “SPOONS Cambodia Organization”.
Our Mission
SPOONS Organization enables underprivileged young adults in Cambodia to be self-supporting by providing education, training, and employment opportunities in the hospitality industry and utilizing a comprehensive approach with an emphasis on life skills development.
Our Vision
We envision a future for our students where they will have equal opportunities, gain independence and the ability to shape their own life.
