Project TEN: A Jewish Agency Initiative
The Jewish Agency's Project TEN is a unique service-learning program that highlights Jewish values, social justice and builds intentional Jewish communities among young adults from around the world. Participants aged 20-35 join for three to five months to learn and serve in partnership with marginalized communities in one of our five centers in: Hyderabad,India; Gondar, Ethiopia; Oaxaca,Mexico, Kiryat Shmona, Israel; Kibbutz Harduf, Israel; with our newest center opening soon in Ghana.
During the three to five months, participants explore Jewish and social justice themes in conjunction to their service with the local community. They also take time to travel, discover regional culture, and build meaningful relationships with both local partners and Jewish peers.
Project TEN alumni take home the values of Tikkun Olam and sustainability to their Jewish communities around the globe, where they continue to stay engaged and serve as agents of change.
