Compassion & Dignity for children in foster care

    About Us

Project Never Again is an Oregon based non-profit organization that serves children in foster care. Due to limited resources, child welfare caseworkers often have to house children's belongings in boxes or garbage bags as they enter foster care. Our organization delivers brand new duffel bags directly to Child Welfare offices so that garbage bags are never the option for children. To date, we have delivered 7000 bags serving children in all 36 counties within Oregon. This summer, we plan on providing 5000 more bags. Foster care is a traumatic experience for vulnerable children and the use of trash bags only contributes to their feelings of being humiliated and homeless. Garbage bags should NEVER be the option for children in foster care!!!! Together with fellow Oregonians, we want to be the change our children need.
