About Us
Houston in Action is made up of people and organizations who have come together to strengthen and grow community-led civic participation and organizing culture in the Houston region.
Houston in Action coordinates members, non-member partners in public, private and non-profit sectors to think innovatively, and remove barriers to, and improve access to, civic engagement opportunities for our region's residents. Houston in Action was formed in 2017 and released report, Take Action Houston: Policies Affecting Civic Participation in Houston and Texas.
