State Representative Nabeela Syed is running for Illinois State Senate in the 26th District to continue delivering bold, compassionate and common-sense leadership. A lifelong resident of the 26th District and current member of the General Assembly, Nabeela has built a strong record of listening to her community in the northwest suburbs and fighting for working families.

Since making history in 2022 as one of the youngest members elected to the Illinois legislature, Nabeela has focused on what matters most: lowering costs, protecting access to healthcare and delivering real results. She’s passed legislation to cap prescription drug costs, expand breast cancer screening, secure paid leave for organ donors and make voting more accessible to young people.

As a State Senator, Nabeela will continue fighting for the people who feel unseen—working parents struggling with healthcare costs, retirees facing rising utility bills and every Illinoisan trying to get ahead.
