About Us
Free Bikes 4 Kidz Chicago is a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing kids in the Chicagoland area with bikes so they can live a happier and healthier childhood in the Chicago communities that need it most.
Think about the time you spent on a bike growing up. The feeling of accomplishment when training wheels came off, the way you viewed your community after a ride, and the freedom of travel. Far too often, children in Chicago are unable to enjoy this luxury. We are Free Bikes 4 Kidz Chicago, and we are setting out to change that. Together with your help, we will alter the landscape of impoverished communities by giving access to recycled bicycles to the children that call them home. Through your donations, we refurbish and give bicycles a second life for families across the city. Together let’s change the city one bike at a time.
