About Us
Ready, Set, Read!, a project of Community Partners, promotes early childhood literacy development by training parents to read aloud to their young children. Established in 1999 as a project of Community Partners, a 501(c)(3), Ready, Set, Read! gives parents the self-confidence and skills they need to read-aloud to their preschool and kindergarten-aged children. We conduct both one-time and multi-part workshops throughout the year for parents in English and Spanish and provide books in English and Spanish to our families. We also provide classroom lending libraries to a select number of schools each year.
