  • About Us

Manhattan Country School is a small, co-educational elementary school on the Upper East side of Manhattan, recognized for its strong academic program and for being a diverse community that cares about social responsibility. Manhattan Country School's origins are rooted in the social, ideological, and educational principles of the 1960's. We are seeking an experienced full time Kindergarten teacher who will be self-motivated, energetic, outgoing and a team player who will support the school's philosophy. The preferred candidate should be able to organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development; to foster cooperative social behaviors; as well as plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
