About Us
The New River Abortion Access Fund is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to reproductive justice and working to eliminate economic barriers to abortion access. Based in rural Southwest Virginia, the fund operates a volunteer-run helpline that provides financial assistance and logistical support to low-income people who need help paying for abortion care. In addition to funding, NRAAF offers transportation and overnight housing for callers who are traveling in or to the state of VA for an abortion.
