The Workers Compensation Research Institute (WCRI) is recognized worldwide as the leading research organization addressing the crucial public policy issues involved in compensation for employment-related injuries. Workers’ compensation is the nation’s largest and oldest public benefit program relying on a privatized delivery system, which involves $50 billion in annual transactions. WCRI is relied upon as the gold standard in data collection, objective analysis, and factual, policy-relevant reporting on this vast network of State-based legal frameworks, health care providers, insurance markets, and administrative mechanisms which affect the lives of every American.
