    The Belmont Citizens Forum is a not-for profit, grassroots organization with more than 775 supporters that is dedicated to protecting and conserving the environment and open space in the Belmont, MA area, including the reduction of traffic congestion and related environmental impacts in the town and region. The Forum has purchased a former railroad corridor for the purpose of having the state develop it as part of the extended bicycle and community path network leading from Alewife station to Waltham.
