Stand For Trees - Code REDD

We’re Code REDD. We partner with high quality forest conservation and sustainable development projects around the world to fight tropical deforestation and climate change. Tropical forests are key to addressing climate change, and the UN-approved REDD+ mechanism places a value on the carbon stored in forests, creating a sustainable alternative to deforestation for local communities.

Stand For Trees empowers ordinary citizens to address both deforestation and climate change. Through its web platform, anyone can purchase a certificate of forest conservation linked to one of our members’ projects. Because certificates are only sold once successes have been independently verified, every individual is paying for success. This means that, in contrast to donations campaigns, which may or may not be successful, with Stand For Trees, donations make a real contribution to addressing both deforestation and climate change, empowering communities, and alleviating poverty.
