PERSON TO PERSON STREET MINISTRY INC

Person to Person Street Ministry distributes food and supplies one-on-one to the unhoused members of our downtown St. Louis community. Besides homemade sack lunches, water and face masks, we also hand out whatever other items we have available (hygiene products, clothing, shoes, etc.).

Over time, we have made many friends who recognize our little caravan and eagerly await us each Sunday morning. For some, this may be the only chance they get to eat a healthy meal that day. And we may be the only "non-street people" who want to interact with them.

As word spreads, we have received generous monetary and in-kind donations. Within the past year we have organized coat and backpack drives, and have worked with a church youth group to assemble hygiene bags from donated items. We need volunteers to expand our social media presence, solicit donations, and help with the hands-on work of shopping, organizing donations, preparing food, etc.

Our goal is to serve more people and broaden the scope of our outreach. We are amazed at how our ministry has blossomed in a short time, and will continue to "listen with the ear of the heart" to follow the path intended for us.
