Two Hearts for Children and Family Services of NY, Inc is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that aims to strengthen, build the stability and expand the capacity of individuals and families to become self-sufficient in their lives by offering utilities assistance, housing referrals, job interviewing and resume’ building trainings, tutoring services for all ages, HIV/STD education and prevention, mentoring, various support groups, and volunteer services that benefit the community. We are currently on the lookout for a Board Treasurer to serve on our Board of Directors and who will help in the financial planning of our new agency. Time commitment will be about 4 hours per month. Position Responsibilities: • Attend all Board meetings • Maintain knowledge of the organization and personal commitment to its goals and objectives • Serve as the Chair of the Finance committee • Manage, with the Finance committee, the Board’s review of the action related to the Board’s financial responsibilities Qualifications • Financial planning experience and/or finance degree
